Hey Barrie, there is a great little gem of a restaurant in your midst! A little off the beaten path but we are glad we found it. We had some business on the SW end of Barrie, up from Alliston, so searched for a nice independent spot to eat. And behold, Grillicious! We met the co-owners Dave and Josie and heard about the ideals of the restaurant, which is essentially well prepared healthy food. Well, they hit their objective and then some. I eat pork so had the pulled pork sandwich. My wife doesn’t eat pork, so had the pulled Jack-fruit alternative . Both of us were very pleased, the BBQ sauce is pretty special. The Strawberry salad to start was very tasty, we split it, and topped off the meal with a homemade lime cheesecake and raspberry ice cream cheesecake, both well worth checking out. Grillicious is 35 minutes from home, but we will be back, it’s a drive worth taking!

Grillicious Restaurant & Wine Bar is a gem - tucked into a quiet Barrie neighborhood on Marsellus Dr. It has a contemporary, stylish decor with a welcoming, cozy feel. Deceiving in size – we recently hosted a baby shower there of about 45 people and were very comfortable. It’s family run by owners Josie & Dave - also chef and bartender - who were great to work with! Josie was so pleasant and accommodating – helping to create a made-from-scratch, delicious menu (including gluten & dairy-free options) that was within budget. Events like this come with unique requests and last minute changes – and Josie and Dave were very responsive and willing to pivot. The lunch went off without a hitch! The food was wonderful, prepared on time and served by professional, friendly staff – all helping ensure the event’s success. Unfortunately, the weather prevented use of the outdoor patio, but it would be a lovely added feature for an event. We received many compliments from guests – both about the food, service and warm atmosphere. We had checked into many options to host this party – and are so pleased with having chosen Grillicious. I had eaten here before near the end of 2019 and the food was amazing. I hadn't had a chance to go back until today. I'm pleased to report that the food is still phenomenal. They have a huge menu to choose from, including numerous options for Vegans and for eating Gluten Free. The location is unbeatable as it has a great view of the Lake. It even has a rooftop patio as well as a lower patio. The staff is super friendly, and the owners are great. Can't wait to go back again. Highly, highly recommended.

We recently celebrated my husband’s birthday at Grillicious Restaurant & Wine Bar in Barrie, and it was an unforgettable experience! The service was absolutely excellent, catering to all our guests, including the kids. The modern design and thoughtful decorations added a special touch to the celebration. The kids’ menu was impressive, with plenty of options, including milkshakes and juice. A special highlight was the special food for my father ,which wasn’t on the menu but was accommodated without any issue – such a thoughtful gesture! I want to extend a big thank you to our waitress, Shonna, for being so welcoming, helpful, organized, and supportive throughout the evening. She truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. A special shoutout to Josie and Dave for the delicious food and for creating an incredible dish for our large group. The presentation was stunning – a long platter with fried rice at the base, topped with seafood, chicken, beef, grilled vegetables, and even fruits. It was not only creative but also absolutely delicious. My husband and all our guests were so impressed and pleased. We are so grateful for such a wonderful evening and will definitely be coming back soon!

So glad to find Grillicious again! This location is very nicely decorated, nice patio, very clean. The service staff were very professional and friendly. The menu is inventive and interesting. The lumpia spring rolls are delicious. We had the garlic shrimp, which was a good portion and very tasty. The chicken marsala was fantastic and the smoked trout salad was deliciously smoky with tons of arugula and tomatoes. The finale was a fresh summer strawberry ice cream cake (how many restaurants have ice cream cake?) and it was perfect. So many other menu items we can't wait to try!

After visiting this fine place...many times... the food is consistently amazing. For any first timers I would recommend the salmon or Korean short ribs, with rice.. something about the rice, they should offer take out by the bucket. But first, you should start off with some Lumpia, always delicious! The friendly faces are always so welcoming and the fancy but still kind of casual food is like a delicious warm hug, everything is delicious! Dave & Josie have definitely hit the mark with their formula IMHO

What a phenomenal place, the atmosphere is amazing, the food sounds delicious, and they do catering! You can see Dave's passion in every inch of this place. I can see why locals LOVE it
